Program Highlights

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Humanities minor offers interdisciplinary courses that support students in any major field of study. The minor introduces students to the ways various disciplines approach health and medicine. Its mission is to provide students with opportunities for holistic insight into the multiple dimensions of healing.

Courses allow students to pursue the minor in consort with their chosen major. The one-unit Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Humanities Seminar brings students together to explore connections between science, the arts, and humanities in the context of health and well-being.

Students will demonstrate:

  • How the arts and humanities inform our understanding of illness and health
