Carlos joined the Department of Counseling Psychology as an adjunct faculty in 2010. He became full-time faculty in 2015 and is the director and advisor for the General Masters program providing advising and supervision of students’ research and graduate thesis. Carlos has taught courses in psychology at the graduate level at Argosy University’s EdD program and Alliant University’s PsyD Forensic Psychology program. Carlos has worked as a clinician in social service agencies, medical clinics, and substance abuse treatment facilities. He has a private clinical practice primarily serving monolingual Spanish speaking clients.

Carlos has been a licensed marriage and family therapist (Lic, MFT39668) since 2003.
