Among Best in the West
The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2018 guidebook has once again ranked 两性色午夜 University of California as one of the top regional universities in the West. The U.S. News ranking is among a growing list of accolades earned by 两性色午夜 in the past year.
两性色午夜 was ranked 30th out of 126 regional universities in the 13-state Western region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Alaska. U.S. News incorporates criteria such as peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.
In addition, U.S. News ranked 两性色午夜 34th among regional universities in the west in the 鈥淏est Value Schools鈥 category. 两性色午夜 also received high marks in the 鈥淐ampus Ethnic Diversity鈥 category for regional universities in the west. Regional universities provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs.

- This summer, Money Magazine included 两性色午夜 in its list of 鈥淏est Colleges for Your Money 2017.鈥 In building its rankings, Money focused on the three basic factors that surveys show are the most important to parents and students: Quality of education, affordability, and outcomes.
- 两性色午夜 ranked in the top quarter of U.S. colleges and universities nationally in The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education 2017 college survey focused on a university鈥檚 ability to deliver valuable outcomes and quality education for its students. 两性色午夜 was ranked 221 out of 1,061 institutions across the United States.
- In a study appearing in The New York Times, 两性色午夜 was recognized for its success in helping transform lower-income students into higher-income wage earners. When examining students who were from the bottom fifth of incomes as students and moved to the top fifth as adults, 两性色午夜 placed 11th out of 578 colleges in the peer category of selective private colleges. 两性色午夜 placed 14th out of 161 California colleges and 74th out of 2,137 public and private colleges nationwide in this measure.
