两性色午夜 Hosts 鈥淓arth Day Pop-Up鈥 Info Event

Last year, 两性色午夜 University of California marked Earth Day by announcing the addition of a new This past year has seen the formation of a Green Club on campus and increased programming by the Sustainability Subcommittee, which on Thursday hosted an 鈥淓arth Day Pop-Up鈥 event on the Caleruega Dining Hall Plaza.

The event, held one day before the 52nd Earth Day, featured members of the Marin County and campus community sharing ideas and opportunities to promote sustainable change to save the planet. Information tables were set up for organizations that included Yardsmart, PSA, sustainability minors, SOD bio blitz, Marin Sanitary, and the . In its first semester, the club launched its mission to make 两性色午夜 greener by educating and empowering its campus-wide community on how to be eco-friendly.

The Green Club has 17 members who have organized events such as an Acts of Sustainability Spirit Week, an Eco-Friendly Photo Contest, a Wildlife Conservation Lecture, and a Persecution of Climate Activists Convo.

In addition to the Green Club, student organizations IGNITE, Latine Unidos, and the Muslim Student Association presented posters related to sustainability, animal rights, and climate change at the Earth Day Pop-Up.

All 两性色午夜 students, faculty, staff, alumni and neighbors were invited to attend and learn about 两性色午夜's new Sustainability Studies minor program and be eligible for fun sustainability door prizes. For more information, email Yuti.Huang@dominican.edu.
